Josh graduated from UCONN majoring in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. While at UCONN he lead training in Human Performance Labs for high protein, low fat, and MASS studies, while also working closely with various Division 1 sports teams assisting in training, nutrition supplement, and programming. Along with his degree and various certifications, Josh has had experience in a gym setting for more than 20 years, excelling him to be one of the top trainers in the Northeast. His programming skills have helped countless clients vastly improve overall physical fitness and create healthy nutritional and lifestyle changes. Josh’s custom programming has helped athletes show vast increases and advancements in performance.

Rob is a NASM CPT with over 25 years of Strength Training experience. His other areas of expertise include sport specific exercise, cardiorespiratory fitness, core strength, stability, balance, hypertrophy, max strength, and power.
Rob has 20 years of experience working with local youth and highschoolers as a coach and trainer. Most recently he spent the summer training a Division 1 college athlete. He strives working with the adolescent population providing motivation and instilling self confidence through fitness.

Mischak is a graduate from Eastern Connecticut State University in Sport & Leisure Management with a Concentration in Exercise Science. As one of eight children in an athletic household he pursued many different sports from a young age excelling in both soccer and wrestling. In college, Mischak discovered CrossFit and was immediately hooked on its principles of fitness. He quickly became a high level competitive CrossFitter and an even better coach.
Mischak has found a passion for helping others improve their fitness by his own positive mindset. With him comes years of experience in both fitness and coaching as well as an endless amount of knowledge of health and wellness.

Mikayla is a certified Youth Fitness Trainer and Head of Marketing at JPF. With over a decade of experience working with youth at various locations including our local 4H Camp as a Teen Leader and Counselor, as well as working with the local Unified Special Olympics Spirit Squad, Mikayla's knowledge of children extends beyond the fitness world.
Mikayla has a passion for working with children to help prepare them for a future full of healthy habits while also showing them that physical fitness can be enjoyable. Her understanding of the dangers of over specializing, as well as the importance of introducing specific movements and non-weight barring exercises at a young age, allows her to implement programs and activities that are both age appropriate and fun. Her main goal is to make fitness fun for our local youth, encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyle changes that will last a lifetime.

Jon is focused primarily on weightlifting, strength and conditioning, and movement correction. He has competed and placed first in Powerlifting, Weightlifting, Bodybuilding, and CrossFit. Jon has also fought professionally in MMA for Reality Fighting and CES. He holds previous certifications in ISSA and CSCS.

Adam graduated from Springfield College with a Bachelor's in Applied Exercise Science. During his time there he was a member of Team Iron Sports Weightlifting Team. He began competing in Strongman and has since become a National Level Qualified Amateur Strongman. Adam is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. His specialty is fixing pain by helping athletes to improve body biomechanics.

Kamal is a CrossFit Level I Trainer and a full time Computer Engineer. A former sprinter with interest in high power output, Kamal began his journey in Olympic Weightlifting. After learning both Bulgarian and Russian styles, he took an interest to the Russian ideology, and continues to implement its style in his coaching.
He found CrossFit while at JPF as a fun way to stay active and motivated. Kamal appreciates CrossFit for its variety of movements, competitive aspect, and community. His favorite part of coaching is supporting athletes while achieving their goals and helping them accomplish what they never thought was possible

As the Owner of Muscle Maintenance Massage Therapy, James has spent the past 11 years specializing in pain management and muscular/postural dysfunctions. In 2007 he graduated from Cortiva Institute in Crystal Lake, IL where he became the Lead Instructor of Modalities until 2011. James has played various roles throughout his career including six years as the Lead Supervisor of Massage Therapy for the Chicago Marathon, Lead Therapist for the Schaumburg Flyers Baseball Team, Lead Therapist for Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center, and extensive experience working with Chiropractors and Physical Therapists. His work includes Clinical Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, PNF Stretching, Kinesiology, Body Mobilization, and Myofascial Release.
As an experienced Lead Instructor of Kinesiology, James has a complete understanding of the skeletal and muscular functions of the human body. He easily relates to, and works closely with, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and Personal Trainers to create realistic wellness plans for the prevention and recovery from muscular injuries for all clients.
CAITLYN SWARD, RDN

Caitlyn is a registered dietitian nutritionist having completed 1200 clinical hours in long-term care, acute care, critical care, food service, community nutrition, eating disorders, and counseling. She is also an ACE certified personal trainer; a certification she pursued in order to further her passion for health and wellness. Working as an oncology dietitian as well as an inpatient dietitian, she strives daily to provide medical nutrition therapy for cancer patients and individuals dealing with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, malnutrition, and food allergies/sensitivities.
Caitlyn is currently growing a private practice specializing in childhood feeding practices, weight management, intuitive eating and eating disorder management, and medical nutrition therapy. She is able to provide detailed meal plans and recommendations for clients who are looking to optimize their nutritional goals while reaching their peak physical fitness.
